What to Wear: Picking out your Boudoir Outfits

Have a boudoir session coming up and are wondering about a special boudoir outfit? Boudoir sessions are all about bringing your sexy side, so if you put something on and you feel uncomfortable move on to the next option. Consider it sort of like searching for the perfect dress and when you put it on and can't help but spin in front of the mirror or think, "Heck yes, I'm sexy!" Then that is the piece you should wear on shoot day.

Consider what your significant other likes too, maybe they love you in the color red or they still talk about the baby doll number you wore a couple years ago. If they are into sports or a certain hobby play into that as well. Here are a few more suggestions:

Sports: This is a popular one. If your significant other loves sports, bring some sports gear with you. For example, you could wear a jersey from their favorite team or player, or bring a ball, mitt, club, bat, ect.

Occupation: If your significant other loves his job, try to incorporate that in your session. If they are in the military, think dog tags, uniform, ect. If they are a doctor, try a nurse outfit or a lab coat. It they are a construction worker, borrow their hard hat and boots. Some careers are more difficult to incorporate creativity, but we can even make an office job work. Try bringing a white button-down shirt, tie, or a leisure jacket.

What do they love about you? Think about the things they love - their favorite part of your body, traits you have they adore. Maybe they love your sassiness or playful personality, or how you are shy, sweet, ect. We will want to feature these attributes in your session. Does they love it when you walk around in their clothes> Bring along some for an added personal touch.

Fantasy: Does your partner have a fantasy? Suprise them by dressing up for your session. If they are a big Star Wars fan and they always wanted you to wear a gold bikini like Princess Leia, now would be a good time to break out that costume for some sexy photos

Hobbies: What does your significant other do for fun? Do they play guitar, read comic books, paint? Bring along some items from his hobby. Are they into horses and rodeo's, bring a cowboy hat and boots. Are they into shooting sports? Yes, we will photograph you with your favorite handgun or rifle (Safety measures will be adhered to at all times. No ammo will be brought into the photo shoot, and the weapon will be cleared by us).

Another choice for lingerie is wear something that flatters your favorite body parts. If you have an impressive chest, (Yes, we are going there), then choose something that really shows off that feature. Maybe you're a fan of your own derriere, or maybe your legs are a feature you really like and want to show them the goods too.
